Dr Gaurav garg is doctor by qualification and an entrepreneur cum educator by choice – aiming to narrow educational disparities in the country. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from the College of Dental Surgery, Manipal, I opted to enrol for a Master’s degree in mass communication from MICA, Ahmedabad. Its’ while pursuing the Masters that the desire to be an entrepreneur got seeded firmly in my mind. After gaining some experience as a verbal ability trainer at TIME in 2014, I decided to start our own venture.
In 2015, we founded Study IQ Education – An online education platform aiming to help lakhs of Indian students prepare for competitive exams. Over the years, Study IQ has grown to be one of the biggest online study portals for competitive exams in the country.Study IQ addresses the needs of its users’ 120+ government exams ranging from UPSC, legal exams like CLAT/AILET, Railways, SSC, IBPS PO & Clerk, and insurance to defence ones NDA/AFCAT/CDS besides the state PCS and clerk exams among others. Our YouTube channel, where most of the content is uploaded, has 10 million+ subscribers and clocks monthly views of close to 100 million. We plan to expand its offering to areas like k12, JEE, Judiciary, NEET exams shortly and also invest heavily in technology to ensure a seamless experience for the learners.When not at work, I love reading and playing chess – My 1st book ‘Safalta ki Raah,’ which is on the stands now, has helped me realize my dream of becoming a writer.
