Entrepreneur. Storyteller. Story curator. Writer.Born and raised in Lucknow, she moved to Delhi in 2010 to study History at St. Stephen’s College. After graduating, she had 3 months before I started my master’s at London School Of Economics, so I spent my time volunteering in a prison, where I interacted with women inmates and bonded with their kids over stories and jokes.
This was a critical learning moment in my life; I told myself no matter where I go, I will come back and do whatever I can to make a difference in this world. I wrote a book called “Almost Whole” based on this experience and it got published when I was 22.
After London, I went on to do another master’s at University of Southern California and then work for a not-for-profit in New York. Almost a year into New York, I decided it’s time to head home and keep the promise I made to myself.
In March 2017, I launched a storytelling platform called Tape A Tale, a space for people to share and listen to personal stories by people from all walks of life. Today, the platform has over 100M views and 2.2 Million + subscribers!
