About yesterday! 🤍 The nerves going into this shoot 😂 I can’t even tell you, I know you must see my stories and these images and videos and think I’m super confident and it came easy, but honestly behind that smile I was a bag of anxiety plus days running up to it, it’s one thing to shoot underwear in the comfort of your own home on your own, but this is the first lingerie shoot I have done for anybody else and I completely got in my own head, not wanting to eat in the run-up, not wanting to eat or even drink any water on the day petrified of bloating, nervous to be in underwear in person around anybody never mind about 10 people at once, constantly beating myself up every time I looked in the mirror picking out my hangups thinking others must be too, worrying what other people were thinking about how I looked. And guess what, it was all for nothing! All that worry and stress and harsh criticism and overthinking – wasted energy. Because everyone at @pourmoiltd was so lovely!!! Honestly I like the rest of us am still constantly learning and on the path to trying to be comfortable in my own skin. So thank you to them, and to @michaelthomsonjones and @kerrymccauley_ for being so welcoming and making me feel so comfortable and part of the team. To @jaymawson and @makeupbymelissaj again for making me feel comfortable, and to every single other person models and staff I met on the day.
